What you need to know to use Josh Stones Chat:
Until you log on, your remote server is listed as a "lurker" in the UserList.
If you have logged off the chat room and use the back button of your browser to return to the chat room, you will be listed as a lurker. Posting a message will reestablish your username in the UserList.
You cannot log on with a username that is currently in use in any of the rooms. Note that the only names listed are those users and lurkers in the CURRENT room.
You cannot use a colon (':'), question mark ('?'), pipe symbol ('|'), carat ('^'), asterik ('*'), plus sign ('+'), backslash('\'), left bracket ('['), double quote ('"') or dollar sign ('$') in your username.
Your username cannot be blank or have leading spaces.
You can only send private messages to logged on users and can only receive private messages if you are logged on.
Archives show only the CURRENT room.
